A Night of Jazz, Comedy, & Story

Cherished's 3rd Annual Gala

Lancaster Performing Arts Center

Our evening kicks off with the sounds of Scott Martin's Grammy-Award Winning Latin Jazz Band.  We'll enjoy the smart and savvy, highly-caffeinated comedy of Don Friesen as seen on Showtime, Live at Gotham, The Lewis Black Christmas Special, and Comics Unleashed.  Don was also featured in TBS' "The Comedy Festival" in Las Vegas and is wildly popular on KLOS' 5:00 Funnies, 100.3 The Sounds Laughter at 45 After and XM Sirius satellite radio.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!  To purchase tickets, please call the Cherished Studio at 661-214-3020 during business hours or the Lancaster Performing Arts Center Box Office at 661-723-5950 (Monday - Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm or Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm).

Freedom Ride

Cherished has partnered with Freedom Ride 2016 to help raise awareness about human trafficking. Join us at the Finish Line Party at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach to hear Kate speak, visit the Cherished booth, and celebrate the public premier of Cherished's own A Walk in Her Shoes exhibit.

About the Freedom Ride 2016

The Freedom Ride 2016 is a 15-day bike ride covering about 1500 miles from Bend, Oregon to Newport Beach, California from September 10 to 24, 2016. The course winds through beautiful back roads and hills in Oregon, then follows the ocean along the Pacific Coast to finish in Newport Beach. Awareness events take place in designated towns along the route.

The mission of the Freedom Ride Project is to raise awareness about human trafficking and move people to action in their own communities. Events such as the Freedom Ride 2016 help raise awareness and support for non-profits engaged in the fight against human trafficking.
